Remember in this post when I said I was obsessing over culottes? Well I wasn’t joking, I love them! This past weekend I was in San Antonio with one of my best friends, Amanda. The Rio Grande Valley is not blessed with a Zara, so every time we travel north, I have to visit the closest one. Whilst oo-ing and aw-ing at all the pretty things displayed in the store, I stumbled upon these babies. They looked awful on the hanger and even a little little funky on – but kinda in a good way! The 70’s is definitely my favorite decade when it comes to music and fashion. To me, these pants scream 70’s… so of course, I grabbed them!

If there were ever an item of clothing that epitomized “women dress for women, not men,” this would be it. When Fonz saw me step out in my new culottes, all he said was, “…those are some big pants!” Damn straight! and I love them! That’s one reason I keep that guy around. His response to my declaration of culotte-love was “awesome, let’s go!” No questions asked.

What are your opinions of culottes? Good or bad? I promise to not be offended if they’re not yo thang.. to each their own, right? Culottes are one of many trends I’m super stoked about at the moment. I wanna try sooo so many! …but in what order? You shall see! ♥
