Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Afternoons have been crazy hot here in South Texas, so one of my absolute favorite spots to visit is Schoolhouse Creamery. It’s a local ice cream shop that is soooo delicious! Everything is homemade and each flavor is so unique. My go-to is Speculoos Butter. The owner goes to Houston just to pick up some Speculoos Cookie Butter from Trader Joe’s for this flavor specifically…and it’s totally worth it. I’m a big fan of supporting local businesses, especially ones that supply me with homemade ice cream. Y’all have gotta check it out if you’re in the area!
Fonz and I hopped on over to a little shady area right across the street to enjoy our ice cream. This is how you know it’s completely homemade – it’s starts melting immediately! For our ice cream (followed by a movie) date, I wore my new favorite Michael Kors sandals (previously styled here) with my go-to, high-waisted denim shorts. I recently got this button down from Marshall’s and I love it! I’m sure y’all will see it again in the Fall.. it’s such a great transitional piece.
Shout out to Fonz for figuring out how to take photos of me while holding a dripping ice cream cone… you rock!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and reading along. It means so much! As always, let me know your opinions in the comment section down below! Until next time ♥
