So today’s post is extra special to me and also makes me extra nervous. I decided that it would be much easier to talk about beauty stuff on YouTube… so that’s exactly what I did! I created a youtube channel! I posted my first video on it last night. I’m so new to this stuff, so pleeeease keep that in mind while watching haha. If you know me personally, it’s so obvious I’m a little nervous and not quite myself in the video..but I think that will change with time.

In the video I discuss how to make any lipstick long-lasting. For those of you who can’t watch the video or who prefer to read content, instead of watch it, I’ll break it down for you:

1. Exfoliate

Aquafor Healing Ointment Tube

SheaMoisture Superfruit Complex Hand & Body Scrub

2. Moisturize

Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1

3. Apply a thing layer of foundation

Yves Saint Laurent Fusion Ink Foundation

4. Dab the lipstick on lips with your finger

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipcolor in Vibrant Mandarin

5. Set!

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder

6. Apply lipstick from actual tube and with lip brush to get those straight lines
7. Spritz yourself with setting spray and add gloss, if wanted!

I’d love if you left your opinions below! I’m definitely eager for some constructive criticism. Thank you for reading along (or watching)… it means so much to me! :)

Yours Truly,

Shelby

Your blog is awesome. I love the name and the video is awesome quality.
I would love to see the cat eye and maybe an everyday shadow that is natural.
For constructive criticism, just show the products that you’re using before you use them. That’ll help keep that product in mind:)

Aw thank you!! I’m so glad you like it. And that’s a great idea..a neutral everyday shadow look is so universal! I’ll definitely make sure to show the product next time – thanks for the help! :)
