A few weekends ago I finally got to visit my friends in Austin! It had been long overdue for quite some time and I was so glad to finally catch up with all of them. It was like a little reunion! It was a short trip, but still really fun. On Sunday, we decided to hit up Target to see if there was anything left of the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection. FUNNY JOKE. Apparently it was sold out within like 3 minutes of the store opening…we were there at 1pm. While staring at the Lilly Pulitzer war zone, a girl ran up to us and told us her mom was returning a bunch of stuff from the collection. Lilly Pulitzer honestly doesn’t really pique my interest much (it’s a little too girly for my liking), but when the woman pulled out a navy and white jumpsuit – I had to take it!
I’ve never owned a jumpsuit before, because I find them a bit intimidating. I’m so short that they can sometimes make me look a little ridiculous. I actually think because this one has such a busy pattern, it’s easier to pull off. The eye gets distracted. Where as if it were a solid color, it’d be much easier for the eye to get caught on little details of shape and form. I paired it today with my big fish purse and hot pink Kendra Scott earrings. The jumpsuit is obviously sold out but I’ll try to link some cool options below.
Thank you for stopping by! I really appreciate y’all taking time out of your day to visit my little blog :)
