Hi friends! In this post I’ll be continuing my obsession with fringe, as expected if you saw this post. The other day I was innocently browsing the Nordstrom website, when I stumbled upon these sandals. I didn’t think twice about making a purchase because I knew I would get so much use out of them. 1. They’re low enough and blocked, so you can get away with wearing them in really casual scenarios. 2. They have an ankle cuff, which I laaahve. 3. Fringe. and 4. They were only $63!!! Pretty good deal, if I do say so myself.

I was going to dinner with Fonz on the island, so I decided to dress them down even more with some distressed army green Levi’s and a graphic tee. Super simple to throw together!

The wind was crazy! My hair had a mind of its own…clearly.

The shorts started out as longer, cuffed boyfriend shorts. That’s not really my style, so I decided to rough them up a bit. I cut off the cuff and pulled at the edges with some tweezers. I also went at them with some pretty rough sand paper. To get a cool looking tear, I made a horizontal cut in the shorts with an exacto knife and tugged at it. When I was satisfied with how much I had messed them up, I threw them in the washer and voila!

That’s all for my fringy addiction…for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Yours Truly,

Shelby
