For about a year or so now, I’ve had a subscription to Ipsy. For those of you who don’t know, Ipsy is a subscription based service that sends you little make-up bags full of goodies each month for $10 (per month). I honestly can’t give you a definitive answer as to whether or not it’s a good investment. I know…helpful, right? It’s just so dependent upon the person! I can tell you, however, that it is really fun receiving a bag full of surprises each month. Some of the products may be duds, but nonetheless, it’s still enjoyable getting to test them out and learn about new brands. When I was researching Ipsy before subscribing, I looked for a blog or article detailing the sorts of things that could be found in a “Glam Bag.” I was never able to get a clear breakdown of the types of products I would receive, so hopefully this will help those of you like me.
The best thing about this blush is its size. I always get excited when Ipsy gives me a full-size product. Not only that, but the pigmentation is actually really nice. I’ve worn it once already and it lasted all throughout the day. The color is pretty bright, so if you like bright pink blushes – this one is for you.
This lotion was nice and very light, as the name states. However, there was nothing special about it. I didn’t leave my skin feeling any more moisturized or protected than my other face lotions. I wouldn’t go out of my way to use this lotion like I would for some of my other face lotions.

Here’s another full-size product! Go Ipsy! At first glance, I disliked this color. It’s a little darker than what I usually lean towards. Despite my first impression, I wore it to work yesterday and I LOVED it! It really doesn’t come off too dark and it lasts a really long time.
Okay, so I have a really unusual obsession with sample size perfumes. They’re great for throwing in your purse or for traveling. They also come in handy for days you just feel like switching up your scent. So when I saw this product, I was super excited because it’s a rollerball. But even my weird addiction to sample size perfumes couldn’t help this product. I just didn’t like the scent at all. There was nothing special about it to me. I definitely wouldn’t reach for this perfume out of my others.

Now THIS product was the winner of all the products. When I first saw it, I thought the size of the sample was straight up ridiculous. It’s freaking tiny!!! But I swatched it and fell in love. It’s kind of like a duo chrome shadow of purple and gold. It’s wonderful and I am going to buy the full-size for sure. Hopefully my photo of the actual product swatched on my hand will do the shadow justice! Would Recommend.
I hope you enjoyed my quick briefing of my April Glam Bag. In the end, I gave the bag 3/5. There were no products I absolutely hated, just some I wasn’t too fond of, and luckily there were some I loved! Thanks for stopping by! :)
