One of my favorite bloggers, Julie Sarinana of Sincerely Jules, recently had a flash sale – so I had to get in on the fun! I thought the MUSE shirt was a perfect pick, mainly because Sincerely Jules is one of my style muses. I love her style. She’s the epitome of effortlessly cool and has the California, laid-back vibe down to a tee. I love her blog so much that when I was in New York this past September, I was able to go hear her speak in the Bronx… by myself… at an event in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. I am not in the least bit Hispanic, but I wouldn’t let a small detail like that stand in my way! Despite my
kind of scary subway trip to get there, it turned out to be a really fun event and I got to hear some good life/style/blog advice from her!
Since graphic tees are on the more casual side, I decided to throw on some heeled sandals. I just picked up these Rachel Zoe beauties from Bluefly. TIP: Bluefly is the bomb for finding designer pieces. They have sales all the time and if you stalk a specific item on the website (like I did with these) you’ll occasionally catch an even better discount for 24 hours or so. I think they’re $225 at the moment, but I got them for about $150. Plus, if you sign up for their emails you get like $20 or $25 off your first order. Pretty cool! For me, this was a bit of a splurge. But I think the occasional splurge on yourself is good…at least that’s what I keep telling myself.
I’m curious to know: Do you have any bloggers you look to for style inspiration? Another one of my favorites is Aimee Song of Song of Style. I always enjoy discovering new, cool blogs to obsess over. Leave a comment below if you have any recommendations for me to check out!
